A Weekend Away

Image
Last weekend, Brian surprised me with a much-needed weekend getaway.  Typically speaking, and not very surprising if you know Brian at all, vacations or trips center around climbing, but this one (thanks, in part, I am sure, to his ankle injury) had nothing to do with climbing and everything to do with relaxing.  We slept in, went wine tasting, had meals by the bay and visited  Peninsula and Whitefish Dunes State Parks.  We even spent some time sitting by the pool and planning our future. As of late, stress has overrun my world, so thanks, Bri, for an amazing, relaxing weekend away. One Day at a Time

It's been hard to think of a post that could get me as excited as my last, my Spring Break fun, but I do have some photos and updates to share if ever I get time at the computer to organize and do so. As of late, between work, figuring out future work plans and taking care of things around the house (we're a man down thanks to Brian's sprained ankle), I'm lucky if I remember my car keys when I head out the door...and this is so unlike me. For now, I'll just keep on trucking' along and taking life one day at a time.
